Design Einbau Problem

So ich mal wieder, diesmal mit nem Design Problem. Hab das vms 1.2.4 und bekomm es nicht hin, mein design einzubauen.

Problem1: das hintergrundbild für den content zieht sich über head und foot , is also durchgängig
Problem2: wenn ich head und foot an die richtige stelle bringe, dann klappt das nur im Opera und FF, der Ie schiebt das weiter, sodass das rechte menü nach unten verschwindet.

punkt eins

header.php erst mal den doctype austauschen dan fallen die meisten IE problehme schonmal weg
Neu:

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd">

beim login solltest du danach einfach n BR machen dan sollte das auch gehen das der abstand weg ist.

für den content da übernimmst du am besten die css teile in der main.css und die layout divs in der lib/layout.lib.php vom menü da das 1.2.4 nicht auch contentboxen ausgelegt war und alles nur mittels <hx> tags gemacht hat.

setz das mal um und dan kann man weiter schauen.

Hi,sry das ich so spät erst antworte. Dankeschön für die zwei Tipps, hat prima geklappt.Im ie wird nu das auch alles richtig angezeigt ^^
Hab das zeug in der main.css übernommen sowie in der layout.php , nu sieht's noch en bissl schlimmer aus ^^ .
Könntest du mir das Design richtig einbauen ? Müsstest mir nur ein Preis vorschlagen ^^.
